In the Dyomsky district of Ufa, until recently, there was only a small district mosque that could not accommodate all those who wished to attend. Therefore, the issue of building a new mosque was relevant. The "Madina" mosque was laid in the autumn of 2010 on a wasteland in the private sector of Dyoma. Its construction was carried out over three years by the company LLC "Dorstranstroy".

According to an old legend, it was established on the site of a mass grave of soldiers who defended Kazan from the troops of Ivan the Terrible in 1552. The grave was marked by a large old stone (Tatar: зур иске́ таш), which was preserved and stood in front of the eastern facade of the mosque.
