About
Turkey's folk dances, literature, and arts offer a deeper insight into the cultural roots of the nation. Turkish culture is a blend of many civilizations, including the Hittite, Greek, Persian, Seljuk, Byzantine, and Ottoman empires. TAAM's activities proudly reflect these diverse cultural influences and embrace diversity through artistic and educational programs. Over the years, TAAM members have engaged with the broader community by sharing artistic performances both independently and in collaboration with other cultural organizations. Additionally, TAAM provides a warm environment for individuals currently living in Minnesota and neighboring states who have ties to Turkey, by offering connections and support.
