To increase, develop, and promote public knowledge and understanding of Turkish culture, history, and people; To foster friendship and communication between American and Turkish cultures; To facilitate the mutual interaction of arts, culture, and cuisines of the United States and Turkey; To preserve and promote Turkish traditions; To provide humanitarian aid to Turks living in the United States and abroad. TAAC strives to achieve its goals by: Contributing to and/or participating in cultural and educational events and seminars, Participating in significant festivals and exhibitions, Encouraging networking with other organizations and businesses at local and international levels, Promoting and publicizing Turkish heritage, culture, and the people of Turkey through brochures, donating books to libraries and schools, and sending guest speakers to existing social clubs and organizations. Providing information to those planning to visit or live in Turkey.
