About

The Turkestan American Association is a non-profit cultural organization established in 1958. The organization aims to preserve and sustain the traditions and customs of Turkestan. Our goals are to maximize the recognition of our culture, cultural heritage, and identity. We encourage our members to join our community and to establish and maintain a bond between our communities both in the United States and in our homeland. Additionally, our organization aims to introduce the American public to the religious, cultural life, and traditions of Turkestan, especially Uzbekistan.
