About
The Moscow Nazim Hikmet Culture and Art Foundation, guided by these goals, cooperates and holds joint events with the representations and organizations of Turkey and Russia, primarily with the Embassy of Turkey in Moscow, with representatives of the art and culture world of both countries, with universities and educational institutions, with the municipalities of Moscow and the region, with representatives of business circles and public organizations of Turkey and Russia, as well as with all friends of Nazim. Every year we hold memorial events that become increasingly high-quality and rich, reaching a wider audience. The variety of our events, primarily cultural and artistic, contributes to making Nazim Hikmet, who has always been a "bridge of friendship" between Turkey and Russia, known, read, and understood by new generations, especially in Russia. Our Youth Committee, established in 2020 within our foundation and consisting of students studying at leading universities in Russia, actively participates in these events and contributes to their implementation. We continue our activities by organizing events in memory of the poet, concerts, traditional youth conferences, international symposiums, university works, academic meetings, talks, seminars, and master classes, and we strive to expand our events by giving them an international character and implementing larger-scale projects worthy of Nazim's memory.
