As the founder/managing partner of Tema Tekstil, a company established by Taha Holding to manage LC Waikiki's wholesale sales in the domestic market, Mustafa Küçük's brother, Vahap Küçük, was appointed. The first LC Waikiki retail store was opened on Halaskargazi Street in the Şişli district. Despite the opening of other retail stores in different cities, due to the financial crisis of 2000, our retail stores could not achieve the planned profitability and growth. During the 2000 financial crisis, Taha Group companies, struggling to maintain cash flow balance and forced to sell some manufacturing companies to meet their cash needs, faced difficulties caused by the crisis, prompting company management to take radical decisions. LC Waikiki operates with the goal of becoming one of the three most successful clothing brands in Europe. In line with our mission "Dressing well is everyone's right," we continue to grow both in Turkey and abroad, thanks to our own stores and franchise partners in countries where required by law. By 2024, we are proud to have achieved a net sales volume of 144.7 billion Turkish lira, employ about 55 thousand people, export 1.2 billion US dollars, and have more than 1200 stores.
