About
In all our activities, we strive to preserve, protect, and develop the culture, language, literature, and other values of the Crimean Tatars, who are on the verge of extinction. We provide all possible assistance in the treatment of elderly people, orphans, and children suffering from diseases in Crimea. We support the enrichment of our national libraries, ensuring their transformation into cultural and informational resources. We aim for our national schools, attended by only ten percent of Crimean children, to become modern educational institutions providing quality education. We help our people, who lost half of their population in exile after the massacre on May 18, 1944, to return to their homeland, settle, start businesses, and establish new institutions. To enrich our national culture and language, we organize contests, poetry and literary evenings, as well as Crimean Tatar music master classes; we support the publication of magazines and books. We provide all kinds of financial and moral support to students coming from Crimea to Turkey for higher education. We work in accordance with the principles of the Crimean Tatar National Congress and the Crimean Tatar National Assembly – the highest representative body of the Crimean Tatars. We develop projects to achieve our goals and use both our own and external resources rationally. In other words, we strive to prevent the disappearance of Crimea and the Crimean Tatars and to ensure they have the opportunity to build their future.
